A week from today (Friday through Friday) is Golden week. It's a week where almost everyone in Japan has a week off and it'll be my first chance to really get out and explore some of Japan. I'm thinking a Tokyo adventure is in order?
I really do want to go see Akihabara. It's supposed to be the capital of Japanese nerd-dom, complete with 12-story electronics stores, multi-level arcades, anime and manga cosplayers on a daily basis, and an AKB48 concert in the DonkiHote (wall-mart on lsd) every single day. The town even has a Robot store; I have to go there.
